Valerie Pringle has lived and practiced as a family lawyer in Durham Region for more than 25 years. Valerie prides herself in her ability to help her clients reach an agreement outside of court, even where settlement may not initially seem possible. Valerie also has extensive experience representing clients in those cases where proceeding to court is necessary.

Over her many years of practice, Valerie has provided guidance and advice to clients in all areas of family law, including high conflict parenting disputes and complex financial issues relating to support and property division. Valerie provides reasonable, practical and solution oriented advice.

Many people worry that involving lawyers in their separation will only make things more complicated and increase the level of conflict. Valerie's goal is to accomplish the exact opposite for her clients. She is able to use her knowledge and experience to assist her clients in reaching a resolution that is fair and lasting.

Valerie was appointed by the Superior Court of Justice as a Dispute Resolution Officer in 2012. She has acted as an agent for the Office of the Children's Lawyer representing children in the courts for many years. Valerie is a member of Collaborative Practice Durham Region and of the Durham Region Law Association.
